Mompreneur Receives Patent Office Notice of Allowance for Innovative Bib

Debra Lindh, the face behind Messy Face™, announces the receipt of a Notice of Allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office covering the Messy Face™ innovative bib.

“This represents a major milestone in the strategic development of the Messy Face™ intellectual property portfolio,” comments Debra Lindh, CEO of Messy Face Designs, Inc. “This official notice from the Patent Office represents a considerable achievement for the company and its goals. The issuance of this notice represents recognition of the patentability of the Messy Face™ innovative bib and protects this important asset.”

A Notice of Allowance generally completes the substantive examination of a patent application. Following a Notice of Allowance, the normal process which results in final issuance of a United States patent involves several administrative steps that are typically completed in due course following issuance of this notice. Debra Lindh currently believes that the patent could be issued before the end of 2009.
