The life of a small business owner, entrepreneur, and inventor, I’m often faced with people offering various levels of opinions. However, sometimes I encounter people who say, “Nope, that can’t be done.”
Before the inception of Messy Face Designs, Inc. I searched for raw material suppliers making their products in the United States from domestic materials. People kept telling me that it didn’t exist and it could not be done. I politely thanked them for their time and I kept moving forward.
Ask most inventors and entrepreneurs about accepting challenges and common quotes are, “I knew there had to be a better way” or “I was so determined to take on this challenge and prove them wrong.”
Well, I thought both. I knew that accepting the fact that I could not find my raw materials made in the USA was an absolute that seemed too far fetched for this business owner and experienced researcher.
Then the day came when I found my new suppliers – more than two years later and I found exactly what I was looking for. I am very proud to launch our new line just in time for the Labor Day Holiday and State Fair celebrations!
